Trustees
The founding trustees of the Chatham Heritage and Conservation Trust were;
Lois Croon Plantswoman, artist, grandmother, lover of life. I have a vision of the Chatham Islands being restored.

Vaughan Hill Former commercial paua diver Vaughan Hill has a keen interest in conservation and is particularly passionate about engaging the youth of the Chathams in conservation. Vaughn has also recently been appointed to the Chatham Islands Conservation Board.

Peter Johnson Peter is a former Chair of the Chatham Island Conservation Board and has a had a long association with the Chatham Islands. Peter's interest in the Chatham Islands came about through his career as botanist and although now retired he continues to work on Chatham Island botanical and conservation issues. Peter and his wife Pru live in Broad bay in Dunedin.

Alfred Preece Alfred, and wife Robyn live on the family farm at Owenga on the east coast of Chatham Island. Alfreed has a keen interest in the conservation of Chatham Islands heritage, has a number of covenants on the farm and is a former chair of the Chatham Islands Conservation Board.
